BUS
York Mosque is located on a number of major bus service routes that operate from the city centre. The most convenient routes to travel on are the numbers 10 Claret Line (Stamford Bridge - Standard Service) and 8 Yellow Line Park&Ride (Grimston Bar – Frequent Service) which travel along Lawrence Street/Hull Road and will enable you to stop at a bus stop near Bull Lane.

RAIL
York is on the main East Coast Line from London King's Cross to Edinburgh. Fast trains leave from both north and south at frequent intervals. There is also a direct service across the Pennines between York, Leeds and Manchester Airport. The Mosque is two miles from the railway station and you may need to get a bus or taxi to reach us.

TAXI
A journey by taxi from the railway station to the Mosque takes approximately 6 minutes. There is a taxi rank just outside the station. The Mosque has a preferred taxi company, Ebor Taxis.

COACH
York Coach Station is the main coach station in the city with regular services to most major cities. The coach station is located about 1.5 miles from the Masjid and is on the route of all major Bus services to the Masjid. For information on coach services/times please visit:

AIR
Leeds/Bradford International Airport is the closest international Airport to the Masjid and is located 38 miles from the Masjid. The easiest way to get to the Masjid from the Airport is by taxi from outside the airport or by bus using the following booking system (www.yorkaircoach.com)

York is well served with cycle paths.The City Council provides free copies of cycle route maps around the city, and there is a network of cycle paths in and around the neighbourghood.
York Mosque encourages those who visit to participate in a Car Share scheme which is available both for local journeys to and from, and for one-off or regular journeys from further afield. Please feel free to check the site either if you need a lift or have spaces to offer in your car. Alternatevaly we ask you to look at other ways to reduce car usage and help our
